The Esssential’s Pantry serves all those in need in the Windham, Raymond, Standish, Casco area. We are a ministry of Christian Hospitality and Service to the community. We primarily provide you with your choice of cleaning products and personal hygiene products, such as laundry detergent, TP, tissues, paper towels, dish detergent, as well as toothpaste & toothbrush, shampoo, deodorant, female sanitary supplies, bars of soap etc. We also have some non-perishable food items, such canned foods and cereals. We are set up as a store and have our neighbors walk through and choose the items they could use. Items are sometimes limited so that we might serve all our friends. Please bring your own shopping bags. Enter through the lower level door. Check in with Hal at the lower door and go shopping. It’s as easy as that! Welcome!
All goods are donated by the parishioners of St. Anne’s Episcopal Church and Faith Lutheran Church, as well as, the Windham Area Ecumenical Churches.
Proof of residency is required such as a CMP bill, with the address for anyone living in the mentioned towns.
We are located at the corner of Windham Center Rd and the River Rd, at the traffic circle.
For those interested in donating, please make sure there is a current expiration date on products. Monetary donations are also appreciated, to supplement our weekly donations.
The pantry does not accept clothing with the exception of our once a year new sock drive and occasional boot drive.
