The Essential’s Pantry serves all those in need in the Windham, Raymond, Standish, Casco area. We are a ministry of Christian Hospitality and Service to the community. We primarily provide you with your choice of cleaning products and personal hygiene products, such as laundry detergent, TP, tissues, paper towels, dish detergent, as well as toothpaste & toothbrush, shampoo, deodorant, female sanitary supplies, bars…
Join us for food and fellowship. Typically includes scrambled eggs, sausage, pancakes, French toast, juice, coffee, tea. Sometimes the Band of Kitchen Brothers and Sisters add treats like baked beans. There is a suggested donation of $5 per person or $10 per family.
This meal, sponsored by local churches and Wayside Soup Kitchen in Portland, is hosted at St Ann’s twice each month. Enter through the double doors facing the playground. Staffed at St Ann’s alternately by members of St Ann’s and Faith Lutheran churches.
Small Healing Services are held in the Blue Room. All are welcome to be anointed and prayed over for their healing needs or the needs of their loved ones. This is an intimate prayer service without the Holy Eucharist.
The vestry is the governing body of St Ann’s. Vestry meets in the undercroft every month to hear reports and transact the business of the church. Meetings are generally two hours long and all are welcome to attend. If you wish to have floor privileges please contact our senior warden, Patty Bruce, in advance so appropriate time can be planned.
