Jesus said, ‘Let the little children come to me, and do not stop them; for it is to such as these that the kingdom of heaven belongs.’ And he laid his hands on them and went on his way.
John 19: 14-15
On Feb. 16, 2010 the St. Ann’s family lost our little sister in Christ, Kelli Jane Hutchison. To help honor Kelli’s memory the congregation raised the funds to build a playground on the church property. Kelli could not imagine a child without God in his or her life, so the playground stands as a beacon to reach out to such a child as well as benefit many young families within the church and the community at large.
The Kelli Memorial Playground is open to church members and to the greater community as a fun and welcoming place to enjoy the spirit of childhood.
We fundraise throughout the year to generate the funds to keep the playground in great shape. Our chief fundraising event is the Kelli 5K, a race held in August of each year right here in Windham.
Interested in learning more about the playground, or interested in making a donation to support it contact Dan Wheeler, Chair of Playground Committee.
